Former Nigeria Under-23 international, Rabiu Ibrahim was in outstanding form on Friday as he inspired Slovakian club, AS Trencín to Cup success at the expense of Senica.

The gripping Slovakian Cup final decided at Národné tréningové centrum SFZ ended 2-2 after extra time.

Rabiu scored his side’s first goal on the night in the 36th minute, 32 minutes after unfortunate Peter Cögley own goal had given Senica the lead.

Trencín eventually prevailed 3-2 in the shootout to seal a memorable night for the faithful.

Rabiu is now in a great position to claim a famous double as Trencín currently sit top of the Super Liga table with six league matches remaining.

Trencín currently top the 

league standings with 59 points from 29 matches.
