Real wrestle Casemiro back from Porto
With Porto trying to excercise a purchase option on Brazilian midfielder Casemiro at the end of a successful one year loan, Real Madrid have scuppered them by buying him back.
"Real Madrid have exercised their option to buy back Casemiro's contract after FC Porto notified us they wished to purchase him outright," Real Madrid said.
Casemiro moved on a year's loan to Porto in July 2014 and the 23-year-old with seven Brazil caps racked up 41 appearances and rave reviews this season.
Spanish media sources say Madrid paid Porto €7.5 million to get their man back while Porto had been on the point of paying double that to unlock his full purchase option.

For Ladies only: 9 reasons why some men simply refuse to get married
You meet an eligible bachelor,
then after a few drinks and little talk all he wants is just sex, no
commitment and the word 'marriage' is far from his vocabulary.
Wondering what's keeping those guys from getting hitched? Joan Jerkovich of YourTango gives 9 reasons why these men refuse to get married:
- They Don't Need To Have Sex To Get Married: Men today don’t need to marry you to get sex! You know this is true. I’m all for gender equality, but the changing societal standards for premarital sex has backfired for women who want to move their relationships toward marriage.
- They Would Rather Live Together Than Get Married: Another change in relationships over the years is the number of couples who opt to cohabitate versus get married. Unlike in the past, most people don't frown upon couples who live together. So ladies, if you want to improve your chances of marriage, don’t move in with the guy.
- Serial Monogamy > Divorce: It’s easier for men today to have a girlfriend for a while, enjoy all the privileges of marriage without the civil contract, breakup, then move on to another new girlfriend. To men, serial monogamy is easier than going through a divorce.
- In Fact, They're Terrified Of Divorce: Multiple sources cite that the number one reason men don’t want to get married is that either they themselves have been through a bad divorce or they have witnessed the grief, bad outcomes and money problems that divorces have cost their buddies.
- They Don't Want To Leave Their Bromances ...: Guys love to hang with the guys, and they feel like a wife will keep them from this vital part of their social life.
- ... Or Ditch Their Man-Cave: When men live alone, their space is their own. They can hang their moose heads in the living room if they want. All too often when they get married they end up relegated to the unfinished room in the basement, where they have to set up their man-cave to preserve their manhood.
- They Think They Can Have It Better: These are the perpetual playboys who are always looking for something better. If they’re dating a “9”, they’re on the prowl for that elusive “10.” Expect age to slow these guys down, because as they get older, dating really young women just categorizes them as “creepy old men.”
- They're Mamma's Boys: Forget these guys. If they’re still living in mommy’s basement, you wouldn’t want to marry them anyway. They’re already married to momma and there’s no room at the Inn for you!
- They're Die-Hard Bachelors: These are the guys who have hit 50 and have never been married. Don’t get into a relationship with them expecting marriage because according to the research I did, it’s probably never going to happen.

“I Belong To Everybody And Belong To Nobody”, Gov Reacts
More reactions have continued to trickle in following
President Muhammadu Buhari’s utterance at last Saturday’s swearing-in
ceremony.
It would be recalled that at his inauguration, President Buhari said: “I belong to everybody and belong to nobody.”
Reacting to this utterance, Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa state described the statement as an indication that the president would be fair to all sections of the country.
In a statement signed by his chief press secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, in Yenagoa, Dickson congratulated President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on their successful inauguration last week, wishing them success as they pilot the affairs of the country in the next four years, Daily Post reports.
He assured the newly sworn-in president and his vice will get the support and active collaboration of the government and people of the Bayelsa state in the interest of the nation.
Gov Dickson also pledged that the state government would work closely with the Buhari administration and rally support for him, so the people can remain committed to the unity, stability and prosperity of Nigeria.
The statement reads in part: “The Government of Bayelsa State wishes President Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo a successful tenure as President and Vice President of our great nation, Nigeria.
“As a government, we appreciate the fact that only a man with a firm vision and love for his country could undertake such a long journey, notwithstanding the rigours of preceding unsuccessful attempts.
“ Your doggedness and uncompromising posture of always standing for what is right, just, equitable and fair, will no doubt, serve as key drivers in your administration’s quest to deliver on the various lofty electoral promises.
“It is against this backdrop that we wish both you and your able vice, good health, vigour and the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the nation in the next four years.
“In the same vein, we also join millions of Nigerians and the international community in commending and applauding the immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan for a smooth transition”.
Meanwhile, Governor Dickson has signed the ‘Widows and Widowers’ Protection Bill, 2015′ at the state government house,Yenagoa into law following passage by the state House of Assembly.

Impeachment Saga: Why I Absolved Buhari - Gov Fayose
Ayo Fayose, the governor of Ekiti state has absolved
President Muhammadu Buhari of blame in the plot by the 19 All
Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers to impeach him.
Speaking during the inauguration of the Fifth House of Assembly on Friday, June 5, the governor said he absolved the president of blame based on findings he made, The Nation reports.
Fayose, exhorting the new lawmakers legislators to pursue peace in the course of carrying out their duties warned them to avoid “mindless power struggle” with the executive.
The governor criticised the immediate past Assembly which was dominated by the APC lawmakers for engaging in what he described as “crude and barbaric ” power struggle.
He said: “the President had said that he had no enemy to fight. He said he has put the past behind him and why are the APC lawmakers still bent on impeaching me? What is there own in this matter?
He promised to offset the outstanding entitlements of the 19 APC lawmakers and their seven PDP counterparts in the spirit of oneness and unity.
Governor Fayose was for months embroiled in a running battle with the 19 APC lawmakers in the Ekiti state House of Assembly. The law makers had vowed to impeach him over allegations of gross misconduct.
The governor appears to have survived the impeachment crisis following the expiration of the tenure of the lawmakers. All the newly sworn 26 members of the Ekiti Assembly were elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the April 11 House of Assembly elections.

Indian father chains 19-yr-old daughter so she does not elope with lover
An Indian man has been arrested
by the Naswadi police in Gujarat’s tribal-dominated Chhota Udepur
district, for chaining his 19-year-old daughter so as to prevent her
from eloping with her lover, after she refused to go to the family of the man with whom she was married by her relatives.
The
father of the girl, Vasantbhai Rathwa from Simol village, was arrested
and booked him under section 342 of the Indian penal Code (IPC) for
wrongful confinement.
Rathwa's crime against his
daughter came to the fore when it was discovered that he used iron
chains to bound his daughter's legs inside their hut after she was
married off to a man she did not love and she refused to move to the
man's house.
The Naswadi police said that the
girl’s father and relatives had arranged her marriage to a person in
Talsar village not far from their own village and she was actually married off to the man against her wishes because she had a man she loved.
The
girl, however, refused to acknowledge the marriage as she was already
in love with another person and instead stayed back at her father’s
place where she managed to run away with the lover.
The police said it a statement:
"The
girl’s relatives started searching for her and soon found her out from a
nearby village. She was brought back but not let to go out. The girl’s
mother is no more, so her father decided to confine her in such a way
that she does not succeed in again eloping with her lover.
So on Monday, her father locked her legs using an iron chain in such a way that she could not move."

In India: Gay men forced to sleep with mother, lesbians raped by brothers
In what is popularly called
corrective rape rituals in some remote villages in India, men who are
gay are being forced to sleep with their mothers while lesbians are raped by their brothers to cure them of their perceived anomaly.
The
strange phenomenon, though gathering wide acceptance, has been
condemned by members of the The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender
(LGBT), community worldwide.
According to a gay
rights group in that country where homosexuality is strongly frowned
upon, a gay man was forced to have sex with his mother so that he can be
'cured'.
"The ‘corrective rapes' are carried out by the victim’s own family members in a desperate bid for ‘straight’ children.
The parents will arrange the rape and handpick a relative to carry out the heinous act.
In
one shocking case, there are reports of family members in Bangalore
forcing a gay boy to have sex with his mother to ‘cure‘ him.
In
another incident, a young lesbian was raped by her cousin, while there
are reports that sometimes victims’ own brothers are used to carry out
the ‘corrective rape.’
If it is found out that she is in a relationship with another girl, elders in the family believe having sex with the ‘would-be’, even if it’s forcibly, will cure her.
The horrific crimes are so traumatising for their victims and they often go unreported."
In
many cases in southern India, a girl may have been promised to one of
her cousins at birth so it is her betrothed that is brought in to carry
out the ‘corrective rape.’

Nigerian Military To Use Robots Against Boko Haram
Following explosions in the Northeastern part of Nigeria, the Nigerian Army are going to respond by using remote control robots to fight the insurgents.
These remote control robots, equipped with manipulators, are capable of demobilizing explosives-laden vehicles or carrying out safe detonation of bombs.
The sappers control the robot from a safe distance but still need to wear protective suits to avoid being wounded by fragments of detonated improvised explosive devices.
Nigerian army has recently stepped up personnel training to be able to resist dirty tactics of Boko Haram militants.
A bomb blast ripped through the popular Maidugiri abattoir market also known as Gamboru Cattle Market in Borno state on June 2, 2015, Tuesday.
The incident which happened around 12.35 pm, may have killed dozens of people as the bomb was reportedly planted in a toilet facility within the abattoir.
Earlier, amidst celebration of a new era, twin explosion has reportedly killed seven people and left dozens injured, at Tashan Alade in Hawul Local Government of Borno State, North-east Nigeria.

In a time where parents barely
have time for their kids, talk more of monitoring them and knowing what
they are up to, this mother's effort should be applauded.
Angelica Sweeting and husband Jason, who are from Miami, produced the 'naturally perfect' Angelica Doll to reflect the appearance of their daughters, Sophia and Sydney, and they hope that it can help other families, too.
The
mother of two who was worried about her daughter's perception of beauty
took matters into her own hands by creating a doll that looks just like
her.
In a video on their Kickstarter page, Jason explains that the Angelica Doll was 'born out of necessity' because their four-year-old daughter, Sophia, said she was no longer happy with how she looked.
Angelica
said: "She wanted yellow hair and white skin. She pretty much just
hated how she looked because she didn't look like the doll that she
constantly sees or the characters that she constantly sees on TV."
The couple set about creating the 18-inch doll, which has natural hair, skin tone and features which truly reflect her family.
She told today.com : "There are other black dolls now but a lot of black Barbie dolls still have facial features that are Caucasian or more European and all have long straight hair even though it's black."
"She wanted to look like Barbie and she wanted hair like Elsa, long blond hair and white skin. I was really, really sad that my daughter would think that at such a young age...I knew I had to do something about it."

The

software development, public relations, etc.' in the hope of inspiring a
generation of young women to dream big.
Angelica,
who left her own job to dedicate her time to this project, added that
the project has given her a new perspective on her own life.
She said: "Here I am – 27 years old, and I am honestly just beginning to walk into who I am, my natural beauty.
"I want this to happen earlier, not only for my daughters but for your daughter, your niece, your sister, and for all young girls around the world. I want this to happen for all the young girls who never felt pretty enough because of their kinks, curls, wider noses or fuller lips.
"I’m creating Angelica to let girls know that they are beautiful. Our girls need to see a reflection of their own unique beauty. It’s time for our young girls to have a new standard."
