The Kiddnaped brother of the Niger State Deputy Governor might have been taken out of the State, says the Commissioner of Police.

Olusola Emmanuel Amore, Niger police commissioner, alleged this while speaking with newsmen in Minna. According to The Nation, he said that “the victim, Ayuba Ibeto has been taken outside the state, while the kidnappers were in touch with the family”.
Amore confirmed that the politician’s relative had been abducted Friday evening and added that the police was doing everything possible to rescue the victim.
He urged people who might possess any useful information to assist the police with the matter.
Recall that a close aide to the deputy governor, who pleaded for anonymity, disclosed that the kidnappers had shot sporadically into the air on arrival at Ibeto’s home.
Having scared away scared away the residents, they whisked away the man.
The deputy governor could not be reached for the comments on the incident.
