Islam vs. Christianity
Christianity: God is personal. Islam: Allah is unknowable.
Christianity: God is One in Three Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Like a man can be a husband, father and brother at the same time and still be just one man, God is One God in Three Persons. Islam: Allah and God are one and the same, but God has no son and the holy spirit does not exist.
Christianity: God is One in Three Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Like a man can be a husband, father and brother at the same time and still be just one man, God is One God in Three Persons. Islam: Allah and God are one and the same, but God has no son and the holy spirit does not exist.
Christianity:
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who died to save
sinners. Every human is a sinner. Only Jesus lived without sin. Islam: Salvation is through obeying Islamic laws and doing more good deeds than bad deeds for Muslims.
Christianity:
Jesus is the Son of God―sent to save the world from sin. Those who
accept Him as Lord will have eternal life. Jesus will prevail on
Judgment Day. Islam: Jesus was a prophet. He was not Divine. Jesus will bow to Muhammad on Judgment Day.
Christianity: All people who believe Jesus died for their sins, was raised, and now sits at God’s right hand will enter heaven. Islam: Muslim men who die fighting in the Cause of Allah—or do more good deeds than bad deeds for Muslims will enter Paradise.
Christianity: God commands all people to love Him and love one another, even their enemies. Islam: Allah commands Muslims to fight until all people profess Islam as their faith; are enslaved by Muslims; or are dead.
Christianity: There will be no liars in heaven. Islam: Lying, breaking treaties or pretending not to be a Muslim is acceptable—if done to further Islam’s quest for world domination.
Christianity: Nearly all of the Old Testament Prophets were Jews. Islam: All Biblical Prophets were Muslims, including Abraham, Noah, Moses and Jesus. Adam was a Muslim.
Christianity: Earthly bodies cannot last forever. Heavenly bodies are eternal and unique. Islam: Fleshly rewards await those who enter paradise; fruit, wine, and—virgins created for the eternal pleasure of Muslim men.
Christianity: Muhammad is not mentioned in the Bible. His coming is not foretold. Islam: The Bible foretells the coming of Muhammad, who was the last and greatest of all Biblical prophets, including Jesus Christ.
Christianity:
The Bible is the Word of God. It was inspired by God. It is useful for
teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. Islam: Jews and Christians corrupted the Bible by removing verses that pertain to Muhammad and changing passages concerning Jesus.
Christianity: The Jews are God’s chosen People. God will never allow them to be completely destroyed. Islam: Jews are descendants of apes and pigs. It is a sacred duty of Muslims to convert, enslave or murder every one of them.
Christianity: Jesus said, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Islam: Allah said, “Fight until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there is faith in Allah altogether and everywhere.”
Islam: Christians are evil, and bound for hell. They will always try to lead Muslims into their world of sin. Christianity: The only way to be saved from sin and
have eternal life is to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. Jesus commands
Christians to teach all people that He loves them and died for their
sins.
