3SC goalkeeper, Kola Ige has said his side need the whole points they can lay hands on to improve their rating on the league log. The Oluyole Warriors will host Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars in rescheduled Glo Premier League match day 3 clash on Wednesday at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Ige said his side have done good home work for the clash against Pillars hoping that everything will turn out pretty fine on match day.
“We actually need the three points in the clash more than Kano Pillars but the fact that Pillars have equally lost couple of matches will make the encounter really difficult for both sides.
“In fact, we need more the whole points we can lay our hands on aimed at improving our standing on the log.
“We’ve trained very hard for the clash and we fervently pray everything turns out perfect for us on match day.
“Our position is not good at the moment so we can’t afford to lose any game not even on the home ground.
“So we’re condemned to win no matter how tough Kano Pillars turn out to be in the encounter,” said Ige to supersport.com.
The newcomers are at the bottom of the 20-team log on paltry four points from possible 21 though with two matches at hand in the seven-week old Nigerian top flight.
