The Indian, whom Guinness World Records recognises as the oldest man in the world lamented that his grandchildren had been dead for years and asked to know why death has eluded him despite his disturbing figure and looks.
Born in Bangalore on January 6, 1835, Murasi lived in Varanasi, where he worked until 1957 and retired at the age of 122 years.
