Nigerian Prophet and popular televangelist, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as T.B. Joshua has reacted to the ongoing xenophobic attack in South Africa.
The cleric, took to his Facebook wall to call on Africans to unite.
According to him, each country has its own challenges, saying as South Africans are faced with xenophobia, Nigerians are battling the menace of Boko Haram.
T.B. Joshua said: “I cannot leave you without addressing my nation South Africa concerning the challenges they are facing. The world should know that every country has their challenges. We have been facing our challenge of Boko Haram for many years here in Nigeria.”
He likened the African continent to a human body comprised of many parts which are all important for the body to function properly. “In the body, if anything happens to a part of it, the whole body will feel it,” he said.
The prophet condemned plans by several countries to bring back their citizens scared of the xenophobic violence.
“The wound of one should be the wound of all. Today, if anything happens to a country, people say they will carry their people – where are you carrying your people to? Why can’t we come together and redeem our continent?” he queried.
He however prophesied that what is going on in South Africa will not happen again, saying, “it is over. God is in control”.
Below is his Facebook message.
